Here you'll have a chance to meet our dedicated staff. Together they
comprise over 100 years of experience in providing compassionate,
competent care in the animal health care industry. Click on the thumb-

James Tiemann, DVM, co-owner, was born in La Grange. He grew up
on a dairy farm and had an interest in animals since he was a small
child. He attended Texas A&M University School of Veterinary Medicine,
grad-uating in 1966.

He is a member of several professional organizations including the
American Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Veterinary Medical
Association, the American Society of Theriogenology and the Bluebonnet
Veterinary Medical Association.
Nita Tiemann, wife of Dr. James Tiemann, is a graduate of the
University of Texas School of Nursing where she holds a Bachelor of
Science degree and is a registered nurse.

She has a passion for animals and decided to direct her talents in that
direction. Her duties at the clinic are "whatever it takes to get things
accomplished and provide quality health care for our client's animals".
Douglas Stribling, DVM, co-owner, has been with the clinic since
1990. He is originally from Kaufman, Texas. He graduated from Texas
A&M University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. He is a member
of the American Veterinary Medical Assn., and Bluebonnet Veterinary
Medical Association. He is also an active member of the La Grange
Noon Lions Club and an Advisor to the La Grange Chapter of Explorers
Youth Group.
Office Manager Glenn Heinecke has been with the clinic since 1989.
His duties include supervision and administration of data processing
and personnel matters. Glenn is a 1979 graduate of Blinn Jr. College
with an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration.

He is a past president of the La Grange Citizen Police Academy Alumni
Association and is an Adult Advisor for La Grange Law Enforcement
Explorer Post 900. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, movies and
photography.
Joe Oppermann, large animal technician, joined the clinic in 1988. Joe
enjoys working with large animals and raises cattle in his spare time.
Large animal technician Ardene Poncik has been with the clinic since
1994. Ardene has always liked working with cattle and worked on a
large ranch prior to joining the clinic. He also raises cattle in his spare
time. His hobbies include riding horses and fishing with his two sons.
Terri Radabaugh, RVT, has been with the clinic part-time since 1994.
She is a graduate of the North Harris Community College of Tomball
with a degree in Veterinary Technology. An animal lover since
childhood, Terri really enjoys caring for the animals that come into the
clinic.
Groomer Joan Ivy is a 1985 graduate of Texas A&M University and a
1993 graduate of South Texas School of Pet Grooming. Joan has been
with the clinic since 1993. Joan is a lifetime member of the
International Society of Cosmetologists.

She loves all animals and enjoys the chance to help out wherever she's
needed. Joan's hobbies include riding horses, cooking, handicrafts and
reading.
Anna Moore, RVT joined the staff in September of 2004. Like Terri
Radabaugh, Anna also graduated from North Harris Community College
with a degree in Veterinary Technology.
Oreo is our client greeter/security guard. She joined us in 1999 and is
a highly valued member of our staff. She greets the customers (when
she's not on a break) from her basket atop our reception desk. She has

Receptionist Shannon Chernosky joined our staff in April of 2004. She
and her husband Ronnie live in Fayetteville and Shannon enjoys a
passion for barrel racing.
Guadalupe Herrera is a Pet Stylist. She is professionally trained and
can perform just about any type of cut your dog or cat may require. She
has a wonderful, calming manner with the animals.
