Boarding

Dogs:

For dogs we have 22 indoor runs which are climate-controlled. The runs
are 3' x 8' with cinder block dividers to limit nose to nose contact which
can spread disease. The dividers and concrete floors are sealed for
easy cleaning and disinfecting. Three of the runs are double sized for
very large or multiple dogs. Six of the runs are indoor/outdoor runs
which are available at a slightly higher rate. Inside is air conditioned
and heated and they have a doggie door which allows them to go outside and get some fresh air. We have an exercise yard with climb-proof fencing where we let the dogs out to roam off-leash and "do their business".  We let them out at least twice daily, including weekends and holidays.

We provide bedding, but if you want to bring a special "blankie" or rug,
feel free to do so. We feed Science Diet Adult or Puppy dog food in the kennel at no extra charge. If your dog is on a special diet or will only eat a certain kind of food, you'll need to bring it along with the dog or we can provide it at an additional charge.

We charge for boarding by the night and check-out time is 2:00pm on weekdays and 11:30am on Saturday, so if you pick up your dog before
these times you won't be charged for that day. The exception to this is Sunday.
Since we are closed on Sundays, you will need to make special arrangements for Sunday pickup and you will be charged for Sunday.  We cannot accept drop-offs for boarding on Saturday afternoon or Sunday.  Animals being boarded over the weekend must be dropped off before 11:30am Saturday morning.

All dogs boarding with us must be current on their vaccinations. We
require DHLPP/C, Rabies and Bordetella (kennel cough). If your dog is
current at another clinic, proof of vaccination must be provided to us. If no such proof can be provided, we will vaccinate your animal at our usual prices.

Due to an inordinate amount of last minute cancellations, beginning August 1, 2010 we will institute a new boarding policy.  We will be asking for 48 hours notice to cancel a reservation in order for not to be billed for the reserved space.  There will be a $25.00 fee for no show reservations.  This policy will allow us to accommodate everyone more efficiently with their boarding needs, while also allowing us to make last minute reservations as needed.  We appreciate your cooperation in helping us be more efficient in serving our clients' needs.

Cats:

For cats, we have medium and large size stainless steel cages. We
provide bedding, but if you want to bring along a special item, feel free
to do so. We feed Science Diet Maintenance or Kitten food, but if your
cat is on a special diet or a picky eater, bring along it's food, or we can
provide it at an additional cost.

ment. Hay and grain is included in the boarding fee.
